If you notice damage when you first arrive at the property, Pillow recommends that you report it right away. While it is not common, if there are damages reported following your stay, Pillow has 48 hours to place a hold on your security deposit, or submit a resolution request, depending on which platform you booked. Pillow will then work with the property owner to get documentation for the costs of repairs. If it is determined you are responsible for the said damages, the cost will be deducted from your security deposit.
